Phase I
Phase I treatment begins when children are 7 or 8 years old. This is the best time for an orthodontist to determine whether your child is a good candidate for early orthodontics. Phase I treatment can help make room for erupting permanent teeth, prevent permanent tooth extraction and make braces, Invisalign and other “Phase 2” treatments go more smoothly.
Braces
Braces are a foolproof way to get a straighter smile—and in recent years, they have become more comfortable and sleeker than ever before! Clemente Orthodontics is pleased to utilize micro-mini brackets, which are 30% smaller than traditional brackets. We also offer clear brackets for a more discreet option. Early Orthodontics
Early orthodontic treatment, also known as Phase I, begins when children are 7 or 8 years old. We use our signature Growth Modifying Appliance (GMA), a removable appliance that gradually and comprehensively expands the palate. Early orthodontics helps make room for erupting permanent teeth and prevents more severe orthodontic issues in the future.
Teen Orthodontics
Adolescence is the best time to get orthodontic services, such as braces or Invisalign! At this time, all of their permanent teeth have erupted, but the bone is not yet dense, facilitating tooth and jaw movement. Teens have the option to straighten their smiles with braces, clear brackets or our specialty, Invisalign.
Adult Orthodontics
Orthodontic treatment has no age limit! Our adult patients can enjoy many of the same orthodontic services as teens. Invisalign is a very popular option among adults, as they can get a straighter smile, discreetly.
