Meet Dr. Michael Clemente, D.M.D.

Dr. Michael Clemente grew up in the North East Bronx and attended Hunter College where he received his undergraduate degree in Zoology and Chemistry. He went on to graduate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers), earning a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D).

Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Michael Clemente entered the United States Air Force and served as a Captain during the Viet Nam Conflict. Following his 2 year commitment in the Air Force, Dr. Clemente earned a certificate degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He started his practice later that year and has been successfully providing braces and treating patients ever since. Dr. Clemente and his wife, Dr. Joanne Clemente, have raised five children: Dr. Danielle,  Dr. Nicole, Dr. Michael, Dr. Marissa  and John (while he does not have his doctorate, he does have 3 Masters!).  All three daughters now practice orthodontics! In his spare time, Dr. Clemente enjoys travel, architecture, cinema, writing, and boating.

Dr. Michael Clemente is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, New Jersey Association of Orthodontists, Nanuet Implant Study Club, Tri-State Orthodontic Study Club, Rockland County Dental Association, Bergen County Dental Association, Ninth District Dental Society, Mid-Atlantic Association of Orthodontists, Hudson River Study Club, and the Ridgewood Valley Study Club.
